The Layer That Protects the Layer

A waterproofing membrane is most vulnerable in the hours after it is applied — when backfill goes in, when soil is laid over a podium, when a retaining wall is buried. Dimple Sheet and Drainboard exist for that moment and the decades after it: shielding the membrane from mechanical damage, and giving water a deliberate path away from the structure instead of a slow one through it.

Two Products, Two Jobs

01

Dimple Sheet

Retaining Wall Protection

A studded protection layer placed against the waterproofed face of a retaining wall before backfill. It absorbs the mechanical punishment of compaction and stone, keeps the membrane intact, and creates an air gap that lets any incidental water drain vertically rather than sit against the structure.

  • Protects membrane during backfill
  • Creates a drainage cavity at the wall face
  • Relieves pressure against the structure
02

Drainboard

Landscaping & Flower Beds

Used where soil sits over structure — planters, flower beds and landscaped podiums. Drainboard separates the growing medium from the waterproofing below and gives irrigation and rainwater a controlled route to the outlet, so the bed drains rather than holds water permanently against the slab.

  • Podium and planter drainage
  • Separates soil from the membrane
  • Prevents permanent saturation over slabs
